NOTE: Please use gig bag and leave instrument case in car/bus. Bring folding music stand/lyre, and cloth for water valve discharge. Chairs will be provided. Dress in bright festive colors and if desired decorate your instrument. Participant registration fee is $10.00. ATTENTION ALL PARTICIPANTS AND AUDIENCE: all rooms must be vacated and cleared of personal belongings after the performance. Also only performing participants allowed in rehearsal area. NO EXCEPTIONS! THE RED LACQUER BALLROOM will be a holding room for early arriving participant family members/audience. We will distribute at the check in desk on the 4th floor, color coordinated wristbands according to pickup time. You will be notified at the time the wristband is picked up to report back to the 4th floor foyer area 45 minutes before the event or 11:15 a.m. Lining up will not be allowed on the 4th floor foyer area prior to 45 minutes before the event.
Doors to the Ballroom will open at 12:00 noon for the 12:30 concert. The color of your wristband ensures your spot in line to enter the ballroom. Guests who retrieved wristbands first will be allowed to enter the Grand/State Ballroom first. For your safety, once the Grand/State ballroom reaches max capacity/or all wristbands have been distributed, guests will be directed to the overflow ballroom (Red Lacquer Room). The overflow room will have the concert live on a TV screen for all guests to enjoy. If guests do not pick up a wristband prior to the event, they will not be allowed to enter the ballroom until all wrist banded guests have entered (depending on room occupancy). Please be considerate and follow the guidance of the Palmer House security personnel.

food item which will be distributed to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Thank you.

PARKING: Ample parking in the adjacent lot.
NOTE: Please bring a music stand (there are none on site). Dress festively, wear your TubaChristmas buttons from previous years, and decorate your instrument if you would like to participate in the decoration contest! Music is available at Music Suite 408 and on the day of the event for $25. Participant registration fee is $10.00 (includes annual 2016 button). Pre-registration is not required but is strongly encouraged to assist in assuring a well-organized, productive afternoon. Snacks will be provided between the end of rehearsal and the performance. TubaChristmas merchandise will be available. The concert is free and open to the public. Audience members are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food pantries to share with those in need this holiday season.
